A few days ago one of my friend came to me with a problem that he is unable to install a new anti-virus because his former anti-virus doesn't allows him to do so .Even he uninstalled the old one correctly (Going through Control panel).Now problem is so complicated that he is neither able to install new anti-virus nor updating old one.......have you faced such problems then don't worry here is solution...
Most of the anti-viruses can not be uninstalled simply going through control panel ,you need specific removal tool for that particular anti-virus, some of them are listed below.
1.Kaspersky Internet security
For removing kaspersky you need to follow these steps.
>download and run the executable file kavremover.exe.
>Enter the code from the picture.
>Choose product from drop down menu to uninstall.
>Click on Remove Button. Reboot your computer after removal of anti-virus.
2. Norton Removal Tool
>Download the removal tool from Here.
>Save the file on your system and double click the icon.
>Follow the on screen instructions
>After compilation of the process restart the computer.
3. Avg Remover Tool
>Download the remover tool from Here.
>Choose tool from the list according to your operating system.
>After downloading tool you have to just double click the icon.
If you have other anti-virus causing same problem please mention in the comment box. Prefer to remove anti-virus using these standard software only because these can remove all the preferences of the installed anti-virus.
